ABOUT THE LABORATORY
The Laboratory of Water Resources and Environmental Isotopes – LARHIA, under the coordination of Researcher Didier Gastmans, is linked to the Center for Environmental Studies, and carries out its research activities with master's and doctoral students enrolled in the Postgraduate Program in Geosciences and Environment, and with students from undergraduate courses at the Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences at UNESP – Rio Claro Campus.
The lines of research developed in the laboratory include:

Application of isotopic and chemical tracers to understand water movement;

Interaction of surface and groundwater;

Aquifer recharge;

Determination of groundwater residence times;

Stable isotopes and precipitation.
